New ArmA2 Addon & Signature Request System

Feb 02 2012 05:22 AM | Alderman in ArmA 2

We have finally completed our system for users and members to request the use of addons on our public ArmA2 servers. This system is intended to allow users who want to use client side addons the ability to do so. However this requires that we upload the appropriate signature keys (aka bikeys) which correspond to the addons (specially pbo/bisign files). All addons will need to be reviewed to ensure compatibility so as to avoid users using addons which cause major errors or create an clear unfair advantage over other players. Please note this system is not to be used to request addons which are not client side. This means addons which are content (like models etc) that would require all users to have that content will not be approved and are not even be submitted in our system. We are committed at this time to only requiring the ACE mod and supporting ACRE. We will only support additional addons which are purely client-side. You can access the new system via the link below. http://militarygamin...ge/arma2/addons To submit a request simply click on the Submitted / Pending Category. Addons which get approved will be moved by the appropriate staff to the Approved list.

As the Executive Director of Military Gaming I have the pleasure of announcing that we have selected our new Director of Membership Services. After talks and several interviews we have decided to appoint Joseph Hill as the new Membership Services Director. He brings with him the motivation and experience we feel is necessary to successfully operate this department as well as help the organization reach our current goals and new levels. This also means a crucial vacancy has been filled which will result in a higher quality of service, as well as allow the public a better understanding of our membership opportunities.

Jan 05 2012 08:02 PM | Alderman in ArmA 2

Here are some important updates regarding JayArma2Lib. Much appreciation to Sickboy on his efforts to alleviate the situation for our ArmA2 players and services. QuoteSmall Six Updater v2.9 update: New version released on auto-self-update with support for Min and Max game version or build constraints on Mods. For instance, there's now @JayArma2Lib that still supports the older game versions, and the new @JayArma2Lib_new which supports the newer game versions. Depending on your currently active game version (determined by Beta if beta is enabled), the correct version of JayArma2Lib will be loaded.
